Educators contribute to the profession.
The above is an anchor chart that I initially made for my Humanities 8 short story unit, but it came in handy again for my Literature Studies 11 class when we studied poetry. This was something my Coaching Teacher asked to take a picture of so that she could make her own copy. Furthermore, I had several colleagues from my cohort who asked for a picture of the chart so that they could create similar ones for their last practicums. I find anchor charts to be incredibly useful for students who need a visual copy of guidelines, and who also need to re-reference the guidelines often. This is a simple way to keep from having to re-explain something like annotation, which we use quite often in studying literature. I was happy to share this small creation with others.
